Torino vs Juventus
Match preview
Back in November, Juventus won at the Allianz Stadium, which made it 19 home games in a row without losing to their neighbours. That extended their record run in the Derby della Mole.
Juventus have been pretty solid this season, but they did suffer a bit last week in the Supercoppa Italiana semi-finals.
They were in the lead against AC Milan but lost it in the second half. Manuel Locatelli messed up and gave away a penalty, and Federico Gatti scored an own goal. That meant Juve didn't make it to the final.
Thiago Motta's team have had their fair share of setbacks in Serie A too. Their most recent match, a 2-2 draw with Fiorentina, saw the Viola draw level with just 87 minutes left, which might have made it 18 league games unbeaten but also left them behind Italy's top four as they approach the midpoint of Motta's first campaign.
They're not going to lose to their rivals, Juve, after all. In the last match, they lost 2-0, with goals from Timothy Weah and Kenan Yildiz. They'll have to win the derby to catch up.
This century, Torino have won just one of 36 games against Juventus (losing 27), and that was back in April 2015, when Matteo Darmian and Fabio Quagliarella scored for Toro, with Andrea Pirlo scoring for Juve.Paolo Vanoli's current squad have been on a bit of a slide since the start of the season, when they were doing really well.
After they didn't win their last match of the year for the eighth year in a row, Torino only drew with Parma, who have just been promoted, in their first game of 2025.
With wins being few and far between, Vanoli needs to turn things around quickly: Torino are six points behind where they were at this time last year, and in only one of their last 11 Serie A campaigns have they had fewer points.
In their last 10 league games, Toro have only scored four goals, and they've only won two games at home so far. So, they're not the favourites to win the Derby della Mole.

Team News
Dusan Vlahovic (muscle) and Francisco Conceicao (thigh) are both doubts for the Turin derby, having trained individually this week.
Juventus are already without Manuel Locatelli, who is serving a suspension, while long-term absentees Arkadiusz Milik, Bremer and Juan Cabal remain on the sidelines and Danilo looks set for a mid-season exit.
Meanwhile, Torino will be hoping that Saul Coco and midfield linchpin Samuele Ricci recover from injuries sustained against Parma.
Perr Schuurs and Duvan Zapata are both long-term absentees, with the latter's absence leaving the likes of in-form striker Che Adams, Yann Karamoh and Antonio Sanabria to battle it out for places up front.
Possible starting lineup
Torino possible starting lineup:
Milinkovic-Savic; Vojvoda, Maripan, Coco; Lazaro, Ricci, Linetty, Sosa; Vlasic, Karamoh; Adams
Juventus possible starting lineup:
Di Gregorio; Savona, Kalulu, Gatti, Cambiaso; Thuram, Koopmeiners; Yildiz, Gonzalez, Mbangula; Vlahovic
