Ruben Amorim has stated he will need to "manage expectations" at Manchester United following the defeat to Arsenal.
Amorim got off to a flying start with two wins across his first three games as United boss but suffered his first defeat against Arsenal on Wednesday.
"It is sad because it is competitive in this league. It changes with one result," he said.
"You see this kind of result and we have to pass this phase. Before the Arsenal game, you guys were asking about top four and now we return to this position.
"We have to manage expectations and when you have a bad result, you have to keep calm. That is clear, in one week you have three games that can change the perception of the team and the table.
"We need to have consistency on the way we focus on the job in training."
