OFFICIAL: The FA has confirmed that Rodrigo Bentancur has been BANNED for SEVEN games and fined £100k for using a racial slur directed at Son Heung-min!
When asked by a reporter if he could have Son's jersey during an interview in his home country of Uruguay, Bentancur replied, "It could be Son or one of Son's cousins, all Koreans look alike."
Son: “I've spoken with Rodrigo Bentancur. He made a mistake, he knows this and has apologised.Lolo would not mean to ever intentionally say something offensive. We are brothers and nothing has changed at all”.
“We're past this, we're united, and we will be back together in pre season to fight for our club as one”.
