Match preview
Before the international break in November, Monaco's form has taken a turn for the worse in Ligue 1 since returning from the last break in October.
After starting the season with 19 points from a possible 21, Monaco have now gone three games without a win. This is down to a combination of poor discipline and a loss of confidence, which has seen them slip from first to third in the standings.
The 0-0 home draw with Lille saw them have to hold on after Jordan Teze's red card, while Vanderson's dismissal a week later at Nice saw them lose 2-1 after initially taking the lead.
Monaco managed to keep 11 men on the pitch last Friday, but still lost to Angers. Hutter was pretty critical of his side, saying they lacked urgency and invention, and that it was the most surprising defeat of any team in Ligue 1 so far.
PSG quickly overtook Monaco and have since opened up a six-point gap over the side from the principality. Marseille have also leapfrogged them on goal difference following their win over Nantes.
The visitors can take confidence from their continued excellent Champions League form though, as Thilo Kehrer's late header sealed a 1-0 win at the Dall'Ara against Bologna in midweek.
That win moved Monaco up into third and onto 10 points, which many experts think will be enough to guarantee them a spot in the knockout stage.
Next up is Strasbourg, who Monaco have beaten twice in the league over the past two seasons. They've had a tough run between 2018 and 2022, losing three times, but they've managed to win twice on this ground.
Strasbourg have been really impressive at home this season though, ranking as one of the top teams in the league for points at home.
Liam Rosenior's team are one of just three clubs still unbeaten at home in Ligue 1, along with PSG and Nice. They've taken 11 points from their five games at the Stade de la Meinau so far, including a win over second-place Marseille.
The home team will be eager to return to their usual stomping grounds, especially after a disappointing 2-0 loss on the road at struggling Saint-Étienne last week. That was the first game where the Alsace club failed to score this season.
Even though they've only managed to pick up two points away from home so far, Strasbourg are still definitely in with a shout of making it to Europe. They're currently sitting ninth in the league, just a couple of points off the top seven.

Team News
Marvin Senaya is back after serving his one-match suspension, but he's still out with an ankle injury, so he'll miss this one.
There are no new injury concerns for Rosenior, with Emanuel Emegha, Alaa Bellaarouch, Thomas Delaine and Moise Sahi Dion still out for the home side.
Monaco boss Hutter might have gone too attacking in the defeat to Angers. He named five attacking players in his XI, as well as winger Krepin Diatta at right-back.
With Vanderson and Teze back from suspension, the Monaco boss can field a more balanced side here, as he did in Bologna.
Mohammed Salisu and Folarin Balogun are still out for the visitors, while it looks like Denis Zakaria will miss out too. He's been dealing with a muscle problem over the past month.
Possible starting lineups
Strasbourg possible starting lineup:
Petrovic; Doue, Sow, Sarr; Bakwa, Doukoure, Andrey Santos, Diego Moreira; Diarra, Mara, Nanasi
Monaco possible starting lineup:
Majecki; Vanderson, Singo, Kehrer, Caio Henrique; Magassa, Camara; Akliouche, Golovin, Ben Seghir; Embolo
