Bristol City vs Sheff Utd
Match preview
Bristol City have had a pretty good season so far, with four wins, seven draws and two losses in their 13 Championship matches. They've got 19 points, which puts them in eighth place in the table, two points behind sixth-placed West Bromwich Albion.
Liam Manning's side will be going into this contest on the back of an eight-game unbeaten run, having won three and drawn five of their fixtures in England's second tier since a 3-0 reverse at Blackburn Rovers in mid-September.
The Robins have scored 17 times in England's second tier this season, with only four teams – Sunderland, Norwich City, Leeds United and Watford – scoring more goals, while they have conceded 17.
Bristol City haven't beaten Sheffield United since March 2019. The Blades have been on a winning streak against Tuesday's opponents, with 1-0 victories in both of their Championship matches during the 2022-23 season.
Sheffield United finished at the bottom of the 2023-24 Premier League, dropping back down to the Championship. However, they are expected to challenge for an immediate return to England's top tier.
The Blades have won eight, drawn three and lost two of their 13 league matches this season, which has left them in third spot in the table, only four points behind the leaders Sunderland.
Chris Wilder's side have only actually scored 16 times in the Championship this season, but they have the second-best defensive record, conceding just six times. Burnley are at the top of that particular list, having conceded just five times.
Sheffield United will be looking to build on their recent success when they take on Bristol City. The Blades have won two games in a row, beating Stoke City and Blackburn Rovers, after losing 1-0 to Middlesbrough on October 23.
They've done well away from home in the Championship this season, picking up 11 points from seven games. Bristol City, on the other hand, have been strong at home, winning all their games in the 2024-25 campaign.

Team News
Bristol City boss Manning will make two changes to his side for Tuesday's clash with Preston North End after George Tanner was forced off with a knee injury in the first half of Saturday's 3-1 win.
Meanwhile, Joe Williams left the field shortly afterwards with an Achilles problem, and both players will miss the trip.
Haydon Roberts is expected to be the player to benefit from Tanner's unavailability, while Williams could be replaced by Marcus McGuane for the home game against high-flying Sheffield United.
As for Sheffield United, manager Wilder could make a change to his attack on Tuesday night after Tyrese Campbell found the back of the net as a substitute against Blackburn on Saturday afternoon.
There were no fresh injury problems for the Blades against Blackburn, but Tom Davies and Sai Sachdev will again be unavailable due to fitness problems.
Sheffield United, meanwhile, will be boosted by the return of Anel Ahmedhodzic, who is available for selection after missing the weekend's game through suspension.
