Ancelotti's side will be looking for three points as they play their first LaLiga game of the season at the Bernabeu (5:00pm CEST).
At long last, football is back at the Santiago Bernabéu. Three months after the last game, Real Madrid play their first match at home against Valladolid on LaLiga matchday two (5:00pm CEST). Securing the three points and delighting our fans with a good performance will be the main objectives for the recent European Super Cup-champions.
Madrid take on a newly promoted side this afternoon, but one they know very well. They have faced each other 92 times in LaLiga, where the balance is quite favourable for our side with 60 wins, 18 draws and 14 defeats. Meanwhile, Ancelotti‘s side have the chance to extend their spectacular unbeaten league run to 34.

‘We're looking forward to returning to the Bernabeu and putting in a good performance,’ said the Italian coach. The squad for the opening game at home is missing Mendy, through suspension, as well as Camavinga, Alaba and Bellingham, through injury. Rodrygo, Vini Jr and Mbappé are available however. The Frenchman will be playing his first game as a Real Madrid player at our stadium and will be one to look out for against Valladolid.
Our opponents
Pezzolano's side visit the Santiago Bernabeu after winning promotion last season. They are a very dangerous team, with the wind in their sails after beating Espanyol (1-0) at home. They will now be looking for another win to build upon their strong start to the season. One of their most outstanding players is Raúl Moro, who scored the winning goal against the Catalan side.
