Deutsche Bank Park (Frankfurt am Main)
Frankfurt vs St Pauli
Match preview
Eintracht Frankfurt's 16th-minute opener against Mainz was their second and last attempt at goal and, with their opponents scoring from a set-piece, they are now tied for fourth most goals conceded from set-pieces in the Bundesliga (14).
It should be noted that Dino Toppmoller's side have been in fine form defensively in recent weeks, keeping three clean sheets and conceding just twice in their last five matches in all competitions.
The home side won 1-0 in the league on 11 January, a game in which St. Pauli failed to convert any of their five clear-cut chances.
Toppmoller's side have been in mixed form, winning just two of their last five matches, losing one and drawing two.
Eintracht Frankfurt's home record is positive, having won four of their last five matches at Deutsche Bank Park, scoring 12 goals and conceding just two.
St Pauli were narrowly beaten by Stuttgart on 3 May after the victors scored the only goal of the game in the 88th minute, but Sunday's visitors were reduced to 10 men in the 57th minute.
The Kiezkicker have struggled to create chances in the final third, scoring just four times in their last five games, but have also conceded just four goals in that time.
Alexander Blessin's side are five points clear of 16th-placed Heidenheim, who occupy the relegation play-off spot, and can realistically avoid automatic relegation if they lose to Union Berlin on Saturday.
St Pauli have lost just once in their last five matches, drawing three and winning one.
The visitors are also unbeaten in their last two away games, winning once, but have failed to win any of their previous four away games, losing three.

Team News
Attacking midfielder Mario Gotze is the only starter missing for Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday, and his injury could see Ansgar Knauff and Jean-Matteo Bahoya called upon to support striker Hugo Ekitike.
Ellyes Skhiri and Hugo Larsson started in a double pivot against Mainz, and the duo are the most likely pairing to start in the middle of the park this weekend.
Central defenders Tuta, Robin Koch and Arthur Theate have often been selected together in a back three, and they could again be relied upon in defence.
St Pauli, meanwhile, will be without defenders Karol Mets and Siebe van der Heyden, as well as goalkeepers Nikola Vasilj and Sascha Burchert.
Shot-stopper Ben Voll will be protected by a back three of David Nemeth, Hauke Wahl and Lars Ritzka.
With midfielders Jackson Irvine and James Sands ruled out, Carlo Boukhalfa and Eric Smith could partner each other on Sunday.
In attack, Danel Sinani and Noah Weisshaupt could come into contention with strikers Abdoulie Ceesay, Elias Saad and Simon Zoller all injured.
Possible starting lineup
Eintracht Frankfurt possible starting lineup:
Trapp; Tuta, Koch, Theate; Kristensen, Skhiri, Larsson, Brown; Knauff, Bahoya; Ekitike
