Feyenoord vs PSV
Match preview
The 2024-25 Eredivisie season is shaping up to be one of the most exciting in recent memory, with the title race and the battle for Champions League qualification going down to the wire.
Feyenoord currently occupy the Champions League qualifying spot, three points clear of fourth-placed Utrecht and five points ahead of PSV, but they enter the game as the league's in-form side, coming off the back of a convincing 4-1 win away to Heracles.
The result, which followed a 4-0 thrashing of PEC Zwolle, extended Robin van Persie's side's league winning streak to seven games and their unbeaten run in the top flight stretches back to 11 matches at the start of February.
Last week's victory at the Asito Stadium also set a club record for Van Persie, who has now led his side to their longest winning run since Ernst Happel's eight in a row in 1969.
However, while the hosts are in impressive form under their new manager, unbeaten in their last six home league games (W5 D1 L0), they have lost twice to the same opponents this season and are winless in their last four meetings in all competitions.
Meanwhile, PSV's hopes of catching the leaders were revived last week with a 4-1 home win over Fortuna Sittard, while Ajax dropped points for the second week in a row as they were held to a draw by Sparta Rotterdam.
The defending champions are now four points clear at the top of the standings and on paper this is the toughest of their final three fixtures, with Twente coming to De Godenzonen on the final day of the season.
Peter Bosz made his intentions clear in his pre-match press conference, where he said his side would "attack from the first minute".
The visitors have been in impressive goalscoring form away from home of late, netting three times in each of their last three away wins and two or more times in eight of their last 10 league games.

Team News
Given Feyenoord's long list of injury absentees, it is not surprising that Van Persie decided to take Hwang In-beom, Anis Hadj Moussa and Hugo Bueno off at half-time in last week's 3-0 win over Heracles.
The hosts currently have Calvin Stengs, Justin Bijlow, Bart Nieuwkoop, Chris-Kevin Nadje and Jordan Lotomba on the treatment table, while Julian Carranza and Facundo Gonzalez are major doubts for this weekend's clash.
PSV also have a number of injury concerns for the trip to Rotterdam, including Ismael Saibari, Jerdy Schouten, Rick Karsdorp, Lucas Perez, Wessel Kuhn and long-term absentee Ricardo Pepi.
Ivan Perisic has been in fine form in recent weeks, with six goals and two assists in his last five league games, and is likely to retain his place in attack this week, probably alongside Luuk de Jong and Noa Lang.
Possible starting lineup
Feyenoord possible starting lineup:
Wellenreuther; Read, Beelen, Hancko, Bueno; Hwang, Milambo, Moder; Paixao, Ueda, Moussa
PSV Eindhoven possible starting lineup:
Benitez; Ledezma, Flamingo, Boscagli, Junior; Til, Veerman, Tillman; Perisic, de Jong, Lang
