Eredivisie: Willem II vs Heracles
Willem II Team News
Willem II is entering the latest Eredivisie weekend without five players due to injury or illness: Dani Mathieu, Cisse Sandra, Runar Thor Sigurgeirsson, and Mickael Tirpan are ruled out, while Jesse Bosch and Ringo Meerveld are doubtful.
The trio of Bosch, Meerveld, and Sandra have been standout performers for Willem II this season. Bosch leads the club with five goals, with Meerveld and Sandra each scoring four.
After their 1-1 draw with NEC Nijmegen, head coach Kristof Aelbrecht will make at least one change, bringing in Amar Fatah for the sidelined Meerveld.
Heracles Team News
Heracles will be without at least four players for the upcoming matchday in the Eredivisie.
Justin Hoogma, Sava Čestić, and Nikolai Laursen are recovering from injuries, while Sem Scheperman is suspended. On a positive note, Thomas Bruns and Jizz Hornkamp are returning from suspensions and expected to start for Erwin van de Looi.
Daniel van Kaam is set to replace Scheperman, and Luka Kulenovic will likely be replaced by Hornkamp up front. Kulenovic has scored nine goals, and Hornkamp has seven.
Following their 4-1 loss to Feyenoord, Daniel van Kaam and Juho Talvitie are eager to secure starting spots.
