Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran insisted he "loves" competing with Ollie Watkins for the starting role in Unai Emery's side.
Duran replaced his counterpart at half-time during the Champions League meeting against RB Leipzig and scored from long-range in the 3-2 win away from home.
The Colombia international saw a second goal disallowed for offside and spoke openly about competing with Watkins for the starting role at Villa after the game.
"I'm just happy to be here and I actually love the competition I have going with Ollie Watkins," he told Amazon Prime.
"When it is my turn I step up and hopefully I will score to help the team. I am happy.
"We are so happy to be where we out in the standings. We are delighted."
Emery was asked about Duran after the win, where he said: "Sometimes he is very impatient. He was fantastic today and has massive potential. He is improving."
