Sporting are expecting an offer from Manchester United for teenager Geovany Quenda this summer, according to The Manchester Evening News.
The 17-year-old has caught the eye since being handed his professional debut by new Man Utd head coach Ruben Amorim in August.
Quenda was converted from a winger into a wing-back by Amorim, who favours a three-at-the-back system.
United have reportedly been watching Quenda since the start of the season, but are yet to make an offer.
Quenda signed a deal until 2027 in September which includes €100m (£83.3m) buy-out clause.
