Rodri Hernández and Aitana Bonmatí are the winners of the 2024 Ballon d’Or gala.

The Manchester City midfielder beat Real Madrid players Vinicius Júnior and Daniel Carvajal in second and third place, respectively. The Spanish midfielder for FC Barcelona wins her second consecutive Ballon d’Or, ahead of her teammates Caroline Graham Hansen and Salma Paralluelo.

There were more awards throughout the evening. Real Madrid won the award for Men’s Club of the Year and Barcelona won the award for Women’s Club of the Year.

The Yashin Trophy for best goalkeeper went to ‘Dibu’ Martínez. Jenni Hermoso won the Socrates Trophy. Kylian Mbappé and Harry Kane won the Gerd Müller Trophy for top scorer of the season with 52 goals and the Johan Cruyff Trophy for best coaches went to Emma Hayes and Carlo Ancelotti.
