On the 21st, in the 6th round of La Liga, Real Sociedad played Valladolid at the Jose Zorrilla Stadium and ended in a scoreless draw. Manager Imanol changed the system from the 4-3-3 he had been using to a 4-4-2 with a diamond in the midfield.

Valladolid and Real Sociedad drew 0-0 in Zorrilla, something difficult to understand after watching the match, as both teams, especially Imanol Alguacil's, had plenty of chances to score, but failed to do so. The home side and the visitors have just one win so far in LaLiga.

Afterwards, Óskarsson and Aramburu had two very clear chances that Cenk and Hein saved, although they were not enough, due to a previous handball by Kubo. However, the Turkish centre-back's save cost the home side dearly, as he was injured.

Pezzolano was so involved that he was shown a yellow card for protesting, but his intensity infected his players, because it was again Moro who looked for the goal with a right-footed shot, after a good individual move, with several lateral crosses from the blanquivioletas that did not find a finisher, one of them from Moro himself, who is standing out a lot in the start of the league.

The visitors had another clear chance straight after coming out of the changing rooms, but Sucic's shot was bad, with Valladolid's David Torres and Real's Aramburu cutting off Kubo and Latasa's chances to score in time, with the striker trying to score from almost the centre of the pitch, seeing Remiro ahead, but without success. The Real number 1 then won the one-on-one with Moro, in a very clear chance for Pezzolano's men.

Imanol moved the bench to regain prominence and Oyarzabal had a chance with the first ball he touched, although his header went over. The number 10 did score with his next intervention, but it was not valid, as he was just millimetres ahead. Becker also had a chance afterwards, but he shot against the crossbar, with Bah saving another from Zubimendi and Oyarzabal heading high again. It was incredible that Real Sociedad didn't score, but it was also incredible that Latasa didn't score in the last dangerous move of a match that ended 0-0.
