Northampton, on the other hand, are just a point above the relegation zone and will be hoping to put some distance between themselves and 21st-placed Bolton with a win on Saturday.
The visitors have had a poor start to the League One season, winning just one of their first five matches.
In their most recent game, played on 14 September, the Cobblers suffered a disappointing 2-1 loss to Wycombe Wanderers in which they squandered a 1-0 lead.
Manager Jon Brady took over the reins in February 2021 and helped his side return to League One in the 2022-23 season, having survived relegation last season with a 14th place finish.
This season, his side have scored five goals and conceded six, the 15th best attack and eighth best defence in the league.
Huddersfield boss Michael Duff recently mentioned that Herbie Kane, David Kasumu and Brodie Spencer are ‘all likely’ to play after their injuries, but Kane is the closest of the three to a full recovery.
However, midfielder Mickel Miller suffered a hamstring injury in the win over Bolton Wanderers and the Terriers boss will not play him.
Similarly, striker Rhys Healey and goalkeeper Chris Maxwell are also unavailable for this weekend's game.
As for the visitors, boss Jon Brady will be pleased to have goalkeeper Lee Burge available for Saturday's game, despite him being substituted with an injury against Wycombe Wanderers.
Meanwhile, Northampton striker Tom Eaves is expected to make his first appearance for his new team in the next fortnight, although this weekend may come too soon for him.
Huddersfield's likely starting XI
Nicholls; Longwick, Herrick, Lees; Hogg; Kane, Wyles, Evans, Sorensen; Koroma, Marshall
Northampton's likely starting line-up
Burger; McGowan, Baldwin, Guthrie, Bullough; Pinnock, McGeehan, Sowerby, Hoskins; Morton, Roberts
