Getafe finished 12th in Spain's top flight last season, but they are in a strong spot when it comes to improving on that spot this term, with the capital outfit currently 11th, only two points behind Real Sociedad in eighth.

Jose Bordalas's side will enter this match in excellent form, winning three of their last four in Spain's top flight, including a 4-0 success away to basement side Real Valladolid last time out.

Getafe strong season has been built on an impressive defensive record, having conceded just 25 times in their 30 matches, which is the second-best record in the division behind Atletico Madrid and Athletic Bilbao (both 24).

The Deep Blue Ones have only won four of their 15 home league matches this season, with the team proving to be the draw specialists in front of their own fans, sharing the points on seven occasions.

Las Palmas have 12 points to show from their 15 away league matches this season, meanwhile, and Getafe are looking to complete a league double over their opponents this weekend, having triumphed 2-1 in the reverse game back in January.

Las Palmas' last win over Getafe was a 2-0 home success in December 2023, but they have only been victorious in one of their last five matches against the capital outfit.

The visitors will enter this match off the back of a 3-1 home defeat to Real Sociedad, with that result following back-to-back draws against Alaves and Celta Vigo, with wins proving to be a real issue in recent weeks.

Indeed, Diego Martinez's side have not triumphed in Spain's top flight since before the winter break, with their last success coming at home to Espanyol on December 22.

Las Palmas are currently 19th in the La Liga table, boasting a record of six wins, eight draws and 16 defeats from their 30 matches to collect 26 points, which has left them four points off Alaves in 17th.

Pio Pio have struggled defensively during the 2024-25 campaign, conceding 51 times in their 30 matches, which is the second-worst record in the division behind Real Valladolid, who have let in 69 goals.

Las Palmas possible starting lineup:
