DFL Confirms Additional Transfer Window for Club World Cup

The Executive Committee of the DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga e.V. has decided to introduce an additional transfer window in summer 2025.

Due to the extraordinary registration period in connection with the FIFA Club World Cup, Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 clubs can make transfers for the first time from June 1 to June 10, 2025, at 8 p.m. Furthermore, for the regular transfer windows starting with the 2025/26 season, the registration period ends at 8 p.m. on the last day of each season (previously 6 p.m.).

The decisions are subject to approval by the DFL General Assembly.
