The world champions will be gunning for all three points at the Santiago Bernabeu in the last match of 2024 (4:15pm CET).
After being crowned world champions on Wednesday, Real Madrid head into their final game of the year at the Santiago Bernabéu. Ancelotti‘s side, who will offer the fans the title they won in Qatar, host Sevilla on LaLiga matchday 18. The Whites will be aiming to bid farewell to a historic 2024 in which they have won five titles.
Madrid go into the game on great attacking form. They have scored an average of three goals in their last four games, in which six players have found the back of the net. Among them, Mbappé and Bellingham stand out with three goals apiece. The Englishman will be looking to extend his six-game scoring streak this evening.
Vini Jr, winner of The Best Award, will be missing from Ancelotti‘s squad due to an accumulation of yellow cards. "We want to round off the year with a win in front of our fans," said the Italian coach at the pre-match press conference.
Sevilla
The Andalusian side started the round in 11th and have a record of six wins, four draws and seven defeats. Garcia Pimienta's side will also be looking to close 2024 with a win that will bring them closer to the European places. Lukebakio is their offensive reference with seven goals. It will be a special day for Jesús Navas, who will play the last game of his career at the Bernabéu.
