Chelsea defender Benoit Badiashile has stated he wants to stay at the club after links emerged regarding a potential exit.
Chelsea signed him in a £35m deal from Monaco in January 2023 and Sky Sports News understands the club do not wish to sell him despite the reports.
Chelsea insiders believe his passing range is among the best for defenders in Europe and he is progressing well in all other aspects of his game since joining the club almost two years ago.
He is a highly valued member of the squad, and his versatility means he can play across the back line primarily as left centre-back and left-back.
"Of course, I want to stay. Chelsea is a big club. I know it's difficult to succeed here. But I will do my best."
