Some reports this morning suggesting Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres could be the first player to follow Ruben Amorim to Man Utd if the Portuguese agrees to succeed Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.
Amorim signed Gyokeres from Coventry City in July 2023, with the Sweden international having scored 57 goals in just 64 games in all competitions since moving to Lisbon.
According to Sky in Germany's Florian Plettenberg, Gyokeres has a €100m release clause at Sporting, but the striker has been told he can leave the club next summer for a fee of €60-70m.
Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea are also understood to be interested in the 26-year-old, who is contracted to the Portuguese champions until the summer of 2028.
Gyokeres has been involved in 14 goals and four assists in 14 matches in all competitions for Sporting so far this season.
