England international Walker first split from his long-time partner back in 2019 after linking up with Ex On The Beach star Laura Brown. He would then go on to father two children with ex-Love Island contestant Lauryn Goodman – who remains a big part of his life to this day.
Long-suffering Kilner is said to be at the end of her tether, with it being suggested that she is looking for £15 million ($20m) from Walker – around half of his supposed £27m ($36m) fortune – in order to work on trying to fix their marriage. It has been revealed that those plans were first drawn up some time ago.
The Sun claims to have seen text messages from 2019 in which Kilner says: “It’s the same old sh*t, he’s been doing it for ten years.” She goes on to ask friends how she can future-proof herself financially, with predictions of further infidelity seemingly being made. Kilner added: “He’s going to have a lonely end.”
Kilner married childhood sweetheart Walker in 2021, but reportedly kicked him out of their family home after discovering that he had fathered a second child with Goodman. A source has told The Sun: “Annie married Kyle for love, but she also knew in her heart of hearts she had to do it to secure a financial windfall for herself and their children. She has been formulating a get-out plan for some time in terms of finances. Annie is actually very astute and is no one’s fool.
“People may assume she is a doormat, but Annie is clever and she was aware that she’d need to marry Kyle to have access to his money. When she first dumped Kyle in 2019, Annie sought advice from her married Wag friends about her options and what she should do. Some said she should leave him at the time, cut her losses and run. But others warned marrying him would be the only way she could really secure herself financially.”
Kilner is said to have acknowledged that “marrying Kyle would give me security if he ever does it again”, with the 34-year-old defender now waiting to discover if his relationship can be saved or whether a parting of ways has become inevitable.
