The Whites are in action on matchday six of the league season at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium (Saturday, 9 pm CEST).

After the victory against Stuttgart in their Champions League opener, the team began preparations at Real Madrid City for the fixture on matchday six of LaLiga, which sees Ancelotti's side host Espanyol at the Santiago Bernabéu (Saturday, 9 pm CEST).

The session kicked off with half an hour of activity in the gym. Afterwards, the players went through tactical exercises and a series of pressing and passing drills. Lastly, they played several matches on small pitches. Alaba, Ceballos, Camavinga and Brahim continue with their recovery work.

Espanyol MF Gragera: "We have to fight during every minute"

José Gragera played his 50th official game for RCD Espanyol last weekend against Deportivo Alavés. The Asturian midfielder made a positive assessment of the start to the season and his time at the club, and hopes that this Saturday the team can emerge victorious against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu.

“We have a very good upward dynamic, and we want to keep it going in the coming games. We are going to continue enjoying ourselves,” Gragera explained.

“We know the level that there is in the Primera División, and that forces you to be attentive, focused and play each game as if it were a final,” he added.

On the game against Real Madrid, he underlined that the Santiago Bernabéu is “an incredible stadium."

"It will be a beautiful game against top-level players. We have to do our best, as we have been doing so far, stand up to Real Madrid and have a good game. We were able to get a point at the Metropolitano against an Atletico Madrid team with great players and at a spectacular ground. We have to stick to our strategy, keep working as we have been doing and fight during every minute.”
