Mbappe has had a mixed bag experience at Madrid thus far. After scoring on his debut in the UEFA Super Cup, he went three straight matches without finding the back of the net only to score a brace in the club's last match before the September international break against Real Betis.
Despite a slow start to his new journey with Los Blancos, club legend Cristiano Ronaldo feels that the Frenchman will achieve success at Santiago Bernabeu. The Al-Nassr star also heaped praise on Mbappe's peers and predicted who could win the prestigious Ballon d'Or award in future.
Speaking on his newly launched YouTube channel, Ronaldo said, "I think he will do well because of the structure of the club ... it's nice, it's good, it's solid. They have a great coach and the president who has been there for many many years. I think it won't be a big problem because of his talent. He has shown what he is capable of doing. In my opinion, he can be the next Golden Ball [Ballon d'Or] winner. Him, [Erling] Haaland, [Jude] Bellingham, Lamine [Yamal]. I think this new generation, they have a lot of potential."
Mbappe will be back in action for Real Madrid on Saturday night as Carlo Ancelotti's men take on Real Sociedad in La Liga.
