Hojlund sustained a hamstring injury in pre-season and has not played for the club since his substitution against Arsenal in their friendly. Without him, United have scored two goals thus far in the Premier League; Joshua Zirkzee netted the winner against Fulham, while Amad Diallo scored in the 2-1 defeat to Brighton. Now, though, United have published a video of Hojlund going through his paces as he steps up his recovery.
Hojlund has shown flashes of his ability during his time at Old Trafford and scored 16 goals in all competitions last season. As a result, United will be desperate to see the Denmark international back to his best once he returns to full fitness.
United face Liverpool this weekend but it is unlikely Hojlund will be involved. Nevertheless, his comeback is clearly loading.
