Aug 23 (Reuters) - Leganes of Spain officially announced on Friday the arrival of Ecuadorian defender Jackson Porozo on a season-long loan from Troyes of France.
"CD Leganes and ESTAC Troyes have reached an agreement for the loan of Ecuadorian international centre-back Jackson Gabriel Porozo Vernaza, aged 24. The defender, with extensive international experience despite his youth, will play on loan during the 2024/25 season," the club said in a statement.
Porozo began his career in the Ecuadorian league, where he played for Liga de Quito, Manta and Independiente del Valle. He then played for Palmeiras and Santos in Brazil, before moving to Boavista in Portugal.
He then joined Troyes in France, before ending up at Olympiakos in Greece.
