Chelsea dominated the match from start to finish, generating numerous scoring opportunities. However, the first goal came only in first-half stoppage time, quickly followed by another.
Tosin Adarabioyo scored the opener by directing a free-kick from Enzo Fernandez into the far corner. Soon after, Liam Delap demonstrated exceptional skill, evading two Tunis defenders to finish calmly.
In the second half, Chelsea maintained a professional display, allowing no chances to the opposition. Manager Enzo Maresca also introduced debutants Mamadou Sarr and Andrey Santos.
Just as in the first half, Chelsea added to their lead in stoppage time, with Tyrique George's powerful low shot proving unbeatable for Bechir Ben Said. This concluded an impressive performance by the Blues.
Chelsea will next face Benfica in the Club World Cup quarter-finals, set for Saturday, 28 June, in Charlotte, North Carolina.
