According to BBC Sports, Jefferson Louis, 46, has finally ended his long career as a player after 28 years of professional career and 51 transfers.
Jefferson Louis made his debut at the age of 17 for Risborough Rovers in 1996, starting his long journey in the lower leagues of England.
He played for Tame United three times, and spent his last time there before retiring. Throughout his career, he also played for Oxford United, Mansfield, Wrexham, Crawley, Lincoln City and many other teams.
Speaking about his long career, Luis said: "It was my dream to become a professional footballer. I played in some great stadiums and played alongside many excellent players. Later, as I moved from team to team, I met a lot of lovely people who continued to inspire me in the later stages of my career. I have a group of good friends who really encouraged me to get through the lows and keep moving forward. I must have done something right to play for so long because there are still many coaches who invite me to play for them to this day."
