The 2026 CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers have entered the second stage, and 5 teams have already secured their places in the third and final stage.

30 teams entered the second stage of the CONCACAF qualifying, divided into 6 groups of 5 teams each, and played 2 home and 2 away single-leg matches with the other 4 teams. The top two teams in each group advanced. Currently, 5 teams have secured their places in the final stage (the FIFA rankings of the teams are in brackets):

Group C: Curacao (90), Haiti (83)

Group D: Nicaragua (133)

Group E: Guatemala (106)

Group F: Suriname (137)

After the United States, Canada, and Mexico directly advanced as hosts, CONCACAF still has 3.5 World Cup seats.

There are 12 teams participating in the third stage of CONCACAF, divided into 3 groups, with four teams in each group playing two home and away rounds. The top team in each group will advance directly to the World Cup finals, and the two best runners-up in the group will enter the intercontinental play-offs of 6 to 2.
