The former head coach of Juventus and Sampdoria, Andrea Pirlo, could once again lead an Italian club. According to the media, the 45-year-old specialist is in negotiations with Pisa, which was promoted to Serie A following the 2024/25 season.
The "black and blues" have offered Pirlo to join the club in a new role, despite the current head coach Filippo Inzaghi recently extending his contract until summer 2027.
Filippo Inzaghi may continue to coach another Serie B team. According to previous reports, the 2006 World Cup champion may coach Palermo.
Pirlo’s last coaching job was at Sampdoria, which dismissed him in August 2024 after a series of poor results at the start of the season. Earlier there were rumors that the Genoa club was considering bringing Pirlo back, but currently, he is open to new challenges.
Recall that Andrea Pirlo started his coaching career in 2020 and already won the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana with Juventus in his debut season.
