The Swedish coach joined United in July 2024 from Norwegian top-flight side Lillestrøm SK, where he was head coach. Previously, he held roles at England’s Southampton, Arsenal, and Brentford, and managed Malmö FF in Sweden.
Yehorison said:
“Serving as a coach at Manchester United has been an incredible experience, and I will always be proud of my association with this great club.
This chapter of my career is now complete, and I depart to seek new challenges. While excited for what lies ahead, it is also sad to leave so many excellent colleagues and friends at Carrington — who truly make United special.
Even during a challenging season, the professionalism and dedication of the players and staff never wavered, and I believe better days will come. I thank Wilcox, Amorim, and Ten Hag for the opportunity and wish everyone at the club every success in the future.”
Technical Director Jason Wilcox stated:
“Yehorison has been a valuable member of our men’s first-team coaching staff over the past year, and we are grateful for his positive contributions.
We sincerely appreciate his efforts and wish him all the best in the next phase of his career.”
