Flamengo is dealing with a R$6 million challenge to bring Jorginho to the Club World Cup.

To terminate his contract with Arsenal early, which ends on June 30, the midfielder must waive an £800,000 ($6 million) bonus. Jorginho is unwilling to forfeit this amount, and Flamengo does not want to cover it, as they see no justification in spending R$6 million for just a few days' earlier arrival.

If no agreement is reached for contract termination with the English club, Jorginho can only join Flamengo on July 1, after the Club World Cup has begun (Flamengo's first match is on June 16).
