Santos is evaluating Neymar's on-field performance and reviewing the financial terms of a potential new contract before deciding on renewal.

Under the current contract, Neymar receives a monthly salary of R$4.1 million plus 75% of the revenue from sponsorships signed or renewed after his arrival.

In total, Santos must pay Neymar R$105 million for the 5-month contract period, equivalent to R$21 million per month. The board believes their increased revenue will cover these payments.
