According to well-known journalist Romano, Arda Turan, the current head coach of Göztepe S.K., is about to coach the Ukrainian team Shakhtar Donetsk. It is reported that the two sides will sign a contract until 2027.

Romano said: Arda Turan will sign in as new Shakhtar Donetsk manager in the next days, agreement done and here we go!

Former Barça and Atlético midfielder will start new chapter at Shakhtar replacing coach Marino Pusic.

Turan had a brilliant career in La Liga as a player and he was once the captain of Turkish National. In September 2022, Turan announced his retirement. After retiring, Turan began to transform into a coach. He coached the Turkish team Göztepe S.K this season which ranked the sixth in the league currently.
