Hammarby vs Mjallby AIF
Match preview
Malmö's win on Monday night means that Hammarby now enter this fixture outside the top three, despite their own very strong start to the campaign.
After 10 matches, the potential title race in the Allsvenskan looks devilishly difficult to call, with the top four separated by just two points. Champions Malmö are in hot pursuit in fifth. Hammarby have lost just one of their first 10 games, taking an impressive 21 points in that time. However, their solitary defeat came away to their upcoming visitors.
Hellberg's team made the challenging trip to AIK on Sunday and left with a satisfactory 0–0 draw, which keeps both sides in contention for the top spot. The hosts will be feeling confident about continuing their charge, considering they have taken 13 points from a possible 15 at the 3Arena this season.
However, Mjällby will have something to say about that as they seek their first major honour this season.
Having only come up from the third tier in 2018, Mjällby's rise has been impressive, and they are now a well-established top-flight club. They came close to qualifying for Europe last season.
Without any continental commitments, however, manager Anders Torstensson can focus solely on the Allsvenskan this season — a task that may require their full attention given how tight things are at present.
Seven wins in eight is an impressive run, and that continued on Monday when Abdoulie Manneh scored the only goal in their victory over Brommapojkarna, taking them to the top of the table with 23 points.
Mjällby's tally of 22 goals is the best in the Allsvenskan so far, and Torstenson's team have conceded fewer than ten goals, so all the signs are positive as the season progresses.

Team News
Hammarby are set to be without players across the pitch. Defender Frederik Winther and midfielder Dennis Collander are missing due to knee injuries, and Jusef Erabi will also be absent from the attack.
Given his recent form, the hosts will more than likely look to Nahir Besara for inspiration: the experienced midfielder has scored three goals in his last four games and is only one goal behind the top scorer.
Mjällby will have Axel Norén back from suspension, but Tony Miettinen and Adam Petersson are set to remain on the sidelines for this trip to Stockholm.
The visitors are the league's top scorers, with the goals shared around. Monday's match-winner, Manneh, is top of the charts with six goals, while Nicklas Rojkjaer and Herman Johansson have also scored regularly this season with five and four goals respectively.
Possible starting lineup
Hammarby possible starting lineup:
Hahn; Skoglund, Eriksson, Vagic, Pinas; Karlsson, Tekie, Besara; Madjed, Boudah, Tounekti
Mjallby AIF possible starting lineup:
Tornqvist; Noren, Iqbal, T. Pettersson, Stroud; Gustavsson, Rojkjaer, Gustafson; Johansson, Bergstrom, Manneh
