
Here We Go! Romano: Liverpool Reach Agreement to Sign Frimpong

Romano reports that Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen have reached an agreement for Dutch right-back Jeremie Frimpong to join the Reds. Liverpool will trigger his €35 million release clause. The player is set to sign a five-year contract, with medical tests currently being arranged.
Frimpong joined Leverkusen in early 2021 and has since made 190 appearances for the club, scoring 30 goals and providing 44 assists. He played a key role in helping Leverkusen secure the 2023-24 Bundesliga title, the DFB-Pokal, and the 2024 German Super Cup.
At the international level, Frimpong has earned 12 caps for the Netherlands national team, scoring one goal and contributing two assists.
