Amid significant transfer speculation, Ademola Lookman is doubtful for what might be one of his final home games with Atalanta, due to an inflamed Achilles tendon.

Austrian defender Stefan Posch (thigh injury) is also in a tight race to recover, while Gianluca Scamacca, Juan Cuadrado, Sead Kolasinac, and Giorgio Scalvini will remain sidelined until next season; Isak Hien is serving a suspension, so captain Marten de Roon could step in defensively.

Regardless of Lookman's availability, Mateo Retegui is set to lead the attack. On track to win the Capocannoniere award, the Italian striker has netted 24 Serie A goals this season and needs just one more to surpass Pippo Inzaghi's 1996-97 club record.

Meanwhile, for Roma, Eldor Shomurodov and Artem Dovbyk have frequently partnered in attack since star player Paulo Dybala was ruled out for the remainder of the season.

Captain Lorenzo Pellegrini has now joined Dybala on the injury list, with a muscular issue ending his inconsistent campaign early.

As a result, either Nicolo Pisilli or Tommaso Baldanzi might earn a spot in Claudio Ranieri's starting lineup, or Matias Soule could move centrally, allowing Alexis Saelemaekers to return on the right wing.

Atalanta BC possible starting lineup:

Carnesecchi; Kossounou, Djimsiti, De Roon; Bellanova, Ederson, Pasalic, Zappacosta; De Ketelaere, Brescianini; Retegui

Roma possible starting lineup:

Svilar; Celik, Mancini, Ndicka; Soule, Cristante, Kone, Angelino; Pisilli; Shomurodov, Dovbyk
