Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur will face off in the Europa League final on May 21, after both teams secured victories in their semifinal matches on Thursday.
Spurs defeated Bodo/Glimt 2-0 in Norway, while United mounted a comeback for a 4-1 win over Athletic Club in their second legs, further strengthening their aggregate leads from the first legs.
This sets up the third all-English final in Europa League and UEFA Cup history, following Chelsea's victory over Arsenal in 2019 and Tottenham's win against Wolves in 1972.
The final will be held at San Mames, the home stadium of Athletic Club in the Basque Country, where United achieved a surprising 3-0 win in the first leg of the semifinal.
This decisive match in Europe's second-tier competition offers Manchester United and Tottenham a chance to conclude their disappointing seasons—with both teams in the lower half of the Premier League—with a trophy and qualification for the 2025-26 Champions League.
