Polish goalkeeper Szczesny continues to impress at Barcelona this season. He is now 22 games unbeaten, just one away from tying Cruyff's record.
When Cruyff played for Barcelona in the mid-1970s, he set a record of 23 games unbeaten. This record ranks third in Barcelona's history, second only to Fabregas' 30 games unbeaten and Paulinho's 25 games unbeaten.
Since Szczesny made his debut for Barcelona in the Copa del Rey match against Barbasto on January 4 this year, he has played 22 games in just four months. In these games, Barcelona has achieved an excellent record of 19 wins and 3 draws. The three draws were in the Champions League against Atalanta, the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final against Atletico Madrid, and the La Liga match against Real Betis.
If Szczesny can help his side remain unbeaten in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Dortmund on Wednesday, he will tie Cruyff's record.
