Arsenal are said to be eager to lure the Brazilian to north London as they look to strengthen their attack in an attempt to challenge for the Premier League title next season. However, United have now entered the picture and there has been contact with his agent, who talkSPORT reports will soon fly to England for negotiations.
The 25-year-old will be available for £62.5 million this summer due to a release clause in his contract that can be activated during the next transfer window. As well as United and Arsenal, Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa are said to be interested in him.
The Brazil international has been in fine form for Wolves, having scored 15 goals in 29 matches this season. However, he has been banned for their last four matches for headbutting Milos Kerkez in the FA Cup clash against Bournemouth.
The former Atletico Madrid player has already admitted that he wants to leave Wolves at the end of the season, feeling he is ready to take the "next step" and challenge for trophies. Whether Arsenal or United can snap him up has not yet been decided.
