Leicester City vs Newcastle United

Latest News: Abdul Fatawu (knee) is the only absentee for the visit of Newcastle United, although Ruud van Nistelrooy confirmed that Ricardo Pereira would again only be fit enough to be a substitute. Van Nistelrooy has gone with the same team in the last three Gameweeks, sticking with the new wing-back system he's been trialling since early March. It hasn't led to a change in fortunes up top - the Foxes haven't scored in seven league matches - but, if you're desperately looking for positives, at least they weren't battered away at Chelsea and Manchester City. Jordan Ayew, Stephy Mavididi and Facundo Buonanotte are alternatives in the attacking midfield positions, although van Nistelrooy has not been too keen on starting the more mercurial Mavididi and Buonanotte for months now. One player who looks unlikely to gatecrash the line-up is Harry Winks, with reports suggesting he has had a disagreement with his manager over his commute. Van Nistelrooy meanwhile said he was effectively "resting" Jamie Vardy by taking him off at half-time at the Etihad.

Latest News: Lewis Hall (foot), Sven Botman (knee) and Jamaal Lascelles (knee) remain unavailable, while Anthony Gordon - now available after suspension - remains a doubt as he was yet to return to full training as of Friday and is "still not feeling 100% pain-free" after sustaining a knock to his upper leg while on international duty. Eddie Howe also couldn't offer us anything conclusive on Alexander Isak (groin), Kieran Trippier (groin) and Joelinton (knee), who all sustained issues against Brentford on Wednesday. Joelinton finished the game and seems to be the least of Howe's concerns, while the Newcastle boss said Isak's recurring issue is "a very minor problem that will go away quite quickly". The Swedish striker even felt the tweak before kick-off against the Bees, yet still started and lasted 65 minutes. As for Trippier, his injury was described only as "a cramp sensation" but the Daily Mail's usually reliable Newcastle reporter Craig Hope suggested the veteran full-back was the most doubtful, even if far from ruled out. Emil Krafth and Callum Wilson will be on hand to deputise at right-back and centre-forward if needed, while Howe can call upon Joe Willock, Lewis Miley and Sean Longstaff if Joelinton misses out. There's not much doubt about the starting XI beyond the three injury concerns, with Harvey Barnes set to continue on the left if Gordon is still sidelined.
