Bayern Munich came from a goal down to beat hosts Augsburg 3-1 on Friday and move nine points clear at the top of the Bundesliga, but the Bundesliga leaders lost Jamal Musiala to injury ahead of next week's Champions League quarter-final.

Bayern, who host Serie A leaders Inter Milan in the first leg on Tuesday, are already without injured defenders Hiroki Ito, Alphonso Davies and Dayot Upamecano.

They have 68 points with six games remaining, nine clear of Bayern Leverkusen, who travel to minnows Heidenheim on Saturday.

Augsburg, unbeaten in their previous 11 league games, stunned their Bavarian rivals with Dimitris Gianoulis' superb finish in the 30th minute.

The visitors hit back three minutes before the break when Germany international Musiala turned inside the area and beat goalkeeper Finn Dahmen with a low shot.

Bayern hit the crossbar with Michael Olise's 52nd-minute effort, but then saw Musiala stretchered off with what appeared to be a muscle injury.

The game turned in the 59th minute when Augsburg sent off Cédric Zesiger for a second bookable offence. From the resulting free-kick, Bundesliga top scorer Kane headed home his 23rd league goal of the season.

It was Kane's 78th goal in 84 appearances in all competitions for Bayern.

Bayern's Leroy Sané, who had missed a golden opportunity minutes earlier, made sure of all three points in stoppage time when his deflected cross was awarded an own goal by Augsburg's Chrislain Matsima.
