
Brighton have agreed deal to sign Tommy Watson from Sunderland

Brighton has confirmed that they have signed 18-year-old midfielder Tommy Watson from EFL Championship Sunderland. Watson is a member of the Sunderland youth academy. He made his Championship debut on 23 April, 2023. Watson has made 17 appearances for Sunderland and scored 2 goals, both of which came against Stoke City in December last year.

We are pleased to confirm we have reached an agreement to sign Tommy Watson from Sunderland, for undisclosed terms. The 18-year-old has agreed a deal that runs until June 2029, and will officially become an Albion player when the summer transfer window opens.
