Ever since his transfer from Bundesliga side Wolfsburg to Manchester City in 2015, Kevin de Bruyne has gone on to establish himself as one of the all-time greats of the Premier League.
The Belgian has been instrumental in Manchester City's success at the highest level in the past few seasons.
He is also one of the top earners at the club, a position that he has earned through his hard work and stature as a legend at the Etihad.
Under his current contract with the club, Kevin de Bruyne earns a pretty impressive salary of £400,000 ($516,910), while his annual salary reaches close to £21 million ($26m).
Topping the earners list at Manchester City is Norwegian striker Erling Haaland, who is on a mind-boggling £525,000 per week salary playing at the Etihad. De Bruyne makes the list at second position, while midfielders Jack Grealish and Bernardo Silva acquire the third and fourth spot playing on identical wages.
Meanwhile, rounding off the top five list at number five is City's Egyptian attacker in Omar Marmoush.
Haaland and De Bruyne sit at the top of the charts not just at City, but also the league.
Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah makes an appearance at number three, while Casemiro comes in as a rather surprising entrant at number four, followed by yet another City player in Grealish.
Although Haaland and De Bruyne are the top earners in the Premier League, they fail to make the top-five cut when it comes to the highest-paid players across the world.
At the top sits the never-aging Cristiano Ronaldo playing for Saudi Premier League side Al Nassr. At number two comes Al Ittihad's Karim Benzema, while Riyad Mahrez of Al Ahli makes an appearance at number three.
