Thomas Frank heaped praise onto Brentford goalkeeper Mark Flekken as the Dutchman denied Everton striker Beto three times as the two teams battled to a 1-1 draw.
Yoane Wissa’s 13th goal of the season before half-time looked set to give Brentford all three points but Jake O’Brien’s second-half header levelled things up.
Beto had three glorious opportunities to extend his goalscoring run, but Flekken's heroics stopped him in his tracks.
"I felt we kept a quite consistent performance today," Frank stated.
"When you are leading 1-0, and I think in the second half we controlled them, and then they get a goal that’s a bit ‘aargh’!
"On the flip side Mark Flekken was outstanding, probably man of the match, with three crucial saves. He gave us the opportunity to win the game.
"He’s a fantastic keeper, one of the best in the league on one-on-ones."
