Dani Olmo and Ferran Torres came off the bench to help Barcelona to a 2-0 win in Las Palmas on Saturday, a result that saw them return to the top of LaLiga after a game that will not be remembered for long.
Barcelona now lead the table on 54 points, one ahead of Atletico Madrid. Real Madrid are third on 51, but have a game in hand and host Girona on Sunday.
Both sides were largely toothless in attack in a slow-paced game and struggled to create good chances before Barca broke the deadlock in the 62nd minute through Olmo.
Torres added the second five minutes into stoppage time, capitalising on a mistake in the home defence to slot home from close range.
"There is no pressure, we are still in the driver's seat and it's up to us to keep it that way," Olmo told Spanish TV Movistar Plus.
"I'm very happy to help our team take three points that were very important in the title race against a Las Palmas side that defend very well.
They will face Atletico Madrid at home three days later in the Copa del Rey, who just won in Valencia.
