According to TEAMtalk, Arsenal has reached an agreement on a "comprehensive set of personal terms" with Martín Zubimendi from Real Sociedad in anticipation of a possible transfer. Although the Gunners haven't finalized the transfer of the Spanish international as yet, there has evidently been headway in the lead - up to the summer transfer window. The 26 - year - old Zubimendi has a €60m release clause in his contract, and Arsenal is prepared to meet this amount. The midfielder previously came close to joining Liverpool, only to later change his mind and reject a move to Anfield.
