Valladolid vs Sevilla
Match preview
Valladolid's record of four wins, three draws and 16 defeats from 23 league games this term leaves them bottom of the table with 15 points, eight behind 17th-placed Leganes.
The White and Violets are the lowest scorers in La Liga this term, finding the back of the net on just 15 occasions, while they are by far the worst defensively, having conceded 48 times in their 23 games.
It is easy to see why results have been poor this term and Diego Cocca will have his work cut out to keep this side in the division, but a win this weekend would certainly boost confidence in the camp.
Valladolid go into the clash with Sevilla on the back of four successive league defeats to Espanyol, Real Madrid, Villarreal and Rayo Vallecano, but they will be delighted to be back on home soil, having taken 12 of their 15 points in front of their own fans.
Pucela have lost their last two league games against Sevilla, including a 2-1 defeat at the Estadio Ramon earlier this season, while they have not beaten their opponents in the Spanish top flight since December 2012.
Sevilla have dominated this fixture of late, but four of the last six La Liga meetings between the two sides have ended in a draw, including a 1-1 draw at Valladolid's home in March 2021.
Garcia Pimienta's side go into the game on the back of a 4-1 defeat to Barcelona, but that was their first top-flight defeat since the end of December, so they have shown signs of improvement of late.
Los Nervionenses finished 14th in La Liga last season, their worst finish since they were relegated in 1999-2000, and it has been another disappointing campaign for the club so far.
However, Sevilla are only three points behind seventh-placed Real Sociedad, and a top-half finish this season would be a positive sign as they look to move up next season.
Sevilla have won just two of their 11 league games away from home this term, but they will face a side who have scored just seven times in front of their own fans this season.

Team News
Real Valladolid will be without key man Raul Moro due to a collarbone injury, while Marcos Andre is suspended after picking up a yellow card against Rayo last time out.
Head coach Cocca will have been encouraged by his side's performance in the narrow defeat in the capital, so it could be a largely unchanged XI that takes the field.
The only change may be in the final third, with Marcos Andre likely to be replaced by Juanmi Latasa, who is still waiting for his first goal of the season.
For Sevilla, Jose Angel Carmona returns to the squad after serving a suspension, but Loic Bade will miss out due to the yellow card he received in the defeat at Barcelona.
Tanguy Nianzou, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Joan Jordan and Akor Adams are all doubts, but the visitors did not pick up any new fitness concerns in the 4-1 defeat last time out.
The defensive absentees mean that Nemanja Gudelj is likely to drop into that position this weekend, opening the door for Lucien Agoume to operate in central midfield, while nine-goal Dodi Lukebakio will continue to operate on the right for the away side.
Possible starting lineup
Real Valladolid possible starting lineup:
Hein; Candela, Aidoo, J Sanchez, Torres; Perez, Chuky, Nikitscher, Martin, Tuhami; Latasa
Sevilla possible starting lineup:
Nyland; Carmona, Gudelj, Salas, Pedrosa; Agoume, Sow; Lukebakio, Saul, Vargas; Romero
