Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United are all interested in Chris Rigg, the wonderkid from Sunderland, who's about to be up for grabs.

People who know a lot about Rigg's situation have told CaughtOffside that loads of top clubs are keeping an eye on him, as the 17-year-old attacking midfielder could be up for grabs for around £25 million in the summer transfer window.

Rigg is one of the most promising talents around right now, so it's no surprise that big clubs like Liverpool, Arsenal and Man Utd have been keeping an eye on him.

We've also heard that Chelsea, Man City, Brighton, Newcastle, Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid are all interested.

Sunderland have so far resisted approaches for their prized asset, but it now looks like they're resigned to losing him and will be prepared to let him go for a big fee.

£25m is a lot to pay for a teenager who's still wet behind the ears, but it could end up being a bargain in the long run if Rigg fulfils his enormous potential.

The England Under-18 international has already played 53 games for Sunderland's first team, scoring a total of seven goals over the last two seasons for the Championship club.

Jude Bellingham was clearly a real talent when he was doing similar things for Birmingham City at that age, so it's likely that Premier League clubs won't want to miss out again.

United should take a leaf out of their book and build their new-look squad around talents like this, as they've often over-spent on ageing superstars in the past and it's come back to haunt them.

But Rigg might find Arsenal or Liverpool more tempting right now, as both of those clubs look a lot closer to winning major trophies than the Red Devils do.
