Official: Aston Villa's 21-year-old striker Duran has joined Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr FC and will wear the number 9 shirt.

According to an official statement from Al Nassr,the Colombian striker has signed a contract with the club until 2030. The two parties did not disclose the exact amount of the transfer fee, but according to Aston Villa sporting director Monchi, the total fee of this transaction could eventually reach €85 million.

Duran joined Aston Villa from MLS side Chicago Fire in 2023. In 78 appearances for Aston Villa, Duran has scored a total of 20 goals. This season, Duran's goal-scoring efficiency has been extremely high, with 1 goal scored every 31 minutes in the Premier League.
