Everton's been doing really well recently. After wins against Tottenham and Brighton, they're 7 points ahead of the relegation zone with one game less. This weekend, they'll be facing Leicester City, another team that could be relegated, at home. The game will kick off at Goodison Park on 1 February 2025 at 3pm UK.

But David Moyes may be troubled by the squad's injury situation.Armando Broja (ankle), Youssef Chermiti (thigh) and Seamus Coleman (calf) look set to remain out for the Toffees this weekend. Tim Iroegbunam (foot) returned to training last week, so it remains to be seen if he can follow fellow long-term absentee James Garner in making a matchday squad return in Gameweek 24.

David Moyes said last Friday Dwight McNeil may need surgery on his niggly knee issue. Dominic Calvert-Lewin (hamstring) and Orel Mangala (knee) are fresh concerns from Gameweek 23. Moyes said he was “worried” about the pair.

Mangala sustained an anterior cruciate ligament knee injury late on during the Blues’ 1-0 win at Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday that will sideline the on-loan midfielder for the rest of this season. The Belgian international will now see a specialist to determine the next step for his recovery.

Calvert-Lewin sustained a hamstring injury in the 12th minute at Brighton which will require a specialist opinion and is likely to sideline the striker for a number of weeks.

The victory against Tottenham Hotspur is a huge boost for Leicester City at the moment, but Van Nistelrooy and his team still have to work hard to avoid relegation. He is expecting a tough away atmosphere at Goodison Park.

The dutch coach was optimistic about Mads Hermansen returning to the Leicester goal after six weeks out, so it looks like Jakub Stolarczyk's spell of deputising might be coming to an end.

But he praised Jakub Stolarczyk for doing an "excellent job" when called upon in recent games: "He has shown the progression he has made into a proper Premier League goalkeeper, so we are also very happy that we have developed him over these games."

Long-term absentee Ricardo Pereira, who is recovering from a hamstring injury, is still in "individual training" with the physiotherapists but he is now training on the grass.Anthoer long time absence Issahaku Fatawu is taking steps to return to the pitch. We all know the length of the injury; it’s not on the short term.

Wilfred Ndidi is "making good progress" and is "partially back in team training". If the recovery goes well, the defensive midfielder will be back in full team training over the coming week.
