Forest's poor performance down south means they've ended their nine-match unbeaten run in all competitions. But before the match on Saturday, they're still third in the Premier League table and on track for a great season.
But Nuno wants to see a reaction from his players as they look to bounce back against the Seagulls. He said losing at the Vitality Stadium was a "warning" and he wants the hosts to do much better this time around.
It's pretty much a given that Callum Hudson-Odoi will be sitting out of Nottingham Forest's match with Brighton and Hove Albion. The Reds winger will be missing his second game in a row.He didn't play in last weekend's 5-0 thrashing at Bournemouth because of the groin injury he got against Southampton.
Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo isn't sure when Hudson-Odoi will be back in action. But the good news is that Danilo (broken ankle) and Ibrahim Sangare (hamstring) are back in the running.
“Callum is out. He is not going to be involved in the game. It is a big absence for us,” Nuno said.
“We are still assessing. It is something we hope to improve soon but he is not going to be available for this game.
Regarding the seagulls, there's no update yet on the left-back. Brighton will definitely be without Jason Steele (shoulder), Igor Julio (hamstring), Ferdi Kadioglu (toe) and James Milner (thigh).
Hurzeler thinks Pervis Estupinan, Solly March and Mats Wieffer will all be unavailable for Saturday's game.Evan Ferguson "trained for the first time yesterday" and is "an option to play".
He added he sees Ferguson's "long term future here", adding: "His profile is really rare, a clear number nine. Players have to show the potential, we talk about how good he was - we know he has the potential and he has to prove it and show it every day."
When talking on the Forest,Hurzeler said: "There is always one team that surprises everyone - this season it is Nottingham Forest. You see their individual quality, they have a lot, players who have played a long time in the Premier League. For some experts it's not surprising, but they're getting the results and are always finding a way to win games."
